Videra Sidekick for Zoom

Videra Sidekick is a powerful tool designed to help healthcare providers streamline the process of recording, transcribing, and summarizing Zoom meetings into clinical notes. By integrating directly with your Zoom account, Videra Sidekick automatically or manually records your meetings, transcribes the content, and generates accurate clinical notes—saving you time and ensuring your documentation is thorough and consistent.

Here’s how you can add and use Videra Sidekick to enhance your Zoom meetings:

Adding Videra Sidekick to Your Zoom Account

Videra Sidekick joins your Zoom meetings to record, transcribe, and create clinical notes for you.

To add Videra Sidekick to your Zoom account:

  1. Go to the Zoom App Marketplace and search for “Videra Sidekick.”
  2. Click “Add” and then click “Allow” when prompted to grant the app permission to integrate with your Zoom account.
  3. You will be redirected to a Videra login page
  4. A browser window will open where you can sign in using your email and password or through Single Sign-On (SSO), depending on your account setup.

Using Videra Sidekick

To start recording meetings manually:

  1. Begin your Zoom meeting.
  2. Open the Zoom Apps panel and click on Videra Sidekick.
  3. Enter the required patient information (this may vary based on your account setup) and click “Begin Recording.”
  4. Be sure to get the patient’s consent to be recorded before proceeding.
  5. When the meeting is over, you can either end the meeting normally, or click “End Recording” to stop the recording manually.

For automatic meeting recording:

  • Your account can be set up to automatically start recording when you join a meeting.
  • Once the recording starts, you can enter the patient information.
  • The recording can be stopped manually, or it will automatically end when the meeting concludes.
  • If you stop the recording manually, you will see the clinical note in the Sidekick app.
  • Regardless of how the recording ends, the clinical note will be saved in your Videra account, where you can access it from any browser.

Removing Videra Sidekick from Your Zoom Account

If you ever need to remove the app, follow these steps:
