Videra Health Announces Appointment of Rana el Kaliouby, Ph.D. to its Board of Directors

OREM, Utah–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Videra Health, the asynchronous video and analytics healthcare platform, today announced the appointment of AI scientist, technologist and entrepreneur, Rana el Kaliouby, Ph.D., to its Board of Directors.

Dr. el Kaliouby is currently Deputy CEO at Smart Eye and the co-founder and former CEO of Affectiva, where she pioneered the company’s award-winning Emotion AI. Prior to Affectiva, she was a research scientist at the MIT Media Lab, where she spearheaded applications of emotion recognition technology to benefit key research priorities from mental health to autism. Dr. el Kaliouby is also an angel investor and an executive fellow at the Harvard Business School, where she teaches on AI and startups.
